The Planning and Statistics Unit, in
conjunction with the technical services concerned, ensures the mission
of planning and statistical information in the areas covered by the
sector.
As such, she is responsible for:

•coordinate the preparation of plans, programs and projects as well as the analysis of policies and strategies;
•monitor and evaluate sectoral development plans, programs and projects and ensure their intra-sectoral and spatial coherence;
•develop forecasts and monitor the environment and the situation;
•coordinate, in conjunction with the human resources services in the areas covered, the training program in planning and statistics;
•coordinate the production of statistical information and the carrying out of basic studies as well as the dissemination of their results;
•set up and manage the sector database.
